Policies

Order Processing:

Please allow 7-10 business days before your order is processed and shipped. Carla's Plants is working as quickly as possible to get your orders processed and out to you.

Local Pickup:

Some items are available for local pickup as noted in the plant description box.  Plants can be paid for online or at the time of pickup. Please message Carla's Plants through the chat feature, the contact page or you can find Carla's Plants on Whatsapp.  You can also contact the store at carlasplants47@gmail.com.  We can arrange a date and time for pickup.

Cancellations:

You can cancel your order at any time before it is picked up or shipped by e-mailing carlasplants47@gmail.com.  Once orders are picked up or shipped they can no longer be cancelled. 

Carla's Plants reserves the right to reject and/or cancel orders.  All sales are subject to approval by Carla's Plants and shall only become effective upon confirmation.  Carla's Plants reserves the right to reject any order or cancel any sale without notice and without cause provided.

Returns/Refunds:

Carla's Plants does not issue returns or refunds.

Plants are perishable items and for this reason all sales are final once the plant is picked up or shipped.  Living plants require proper care, lighting and nutrients to acclimate to their new environment. Responsibility for proper care lies with the purchaser or new plant parent.

Also, please keep in mind that plants may suffer a small amount of damage during shipping and young leaves may fall off.  This is neither the fault of the shipper or the shipping company.  With a little TLC, patience and time the plant will recover.

If you have elected to prepay and pick up your order and you are unsatisfied with your order for any reason you may elect to cancel your order or exchange an item for another of equal value.

Shipping:

Carla's Plants ships to the lower 48 states. Items available for local pickup do not ship at this time.  Items that ship from the nursery are the only plants available for shipping.  Please allow up to 10 business days for plants to ship.  Carla's Plants does not assume any responsibility for shipping damages or if the plant does not survive the trip to your home.

Shipping prices are subject to change in accordance with courier pricing.  Efforts are made to keep costs down.  However, shipping rates change frequently so please understand that shipping costs are out of our hands.  Shipping fees are non-refundable.

A tracking number will be sent to you along with any shipping overage fees at the time of shipment. If you have not received a tracking number and your package has not been sent out past 10 days of order, please reach out to us at carlasplants47@gmail.com.

Please be mindful of the weather when ordering plants.  Extreme heat and extreme cold can affect the health of the plant.  Weather events can cause shipping delays at any point along the plant's journey.  Carla's Plants does not assume any responsibility for plant damage due to weather or due to any delays in retrieving your packing.  It is the buyer's responsibility to retrieve packages at the time it is delivered to mitigate any damage due to heat or cold temperatures.

Making a Claim:

Customer satisfaction is important.  You are encouraged to reach out to carlasplants47@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery if you have any concerns about your plant.

If your plant arrives damaged or diseased please notify carlasplants47@gmail.com within 24 hours of delivery.  Please use the same e-mail address as the one used to purchase the plant and the name of the plant.  Please provide a photo of the plant from the top down and a closeup photo of the damage.  If it is deemed the plant has an issue Carla's Plants will attempt to make it right. 

Claims without photos will be denied.
